Bass Loafers - My All-Time Favorites
I discovered Bass shoes when I was in high school … and that is too many years ago to mention! I remember that my family was pretty poor, so a pair of Bass shoes was out of our price range. But between saving my allowance and working at the local luncheonette, I was able to save enough money to buy my first pair of burgundy penny loafter. I was so proud of those shoes and wore them for years before they finally gave up the ghost.
I am still wearing burgundy Bass penny loafers today. I love them because they are comfortable (they fit my feet perfectly) and they are still stylish, especially with jeans and casual pants. Wearing them also makes me feel young again!
Bass is just in the process of putting up its own web site. I’m not sure what took them so long. I have been getting my shoes online, because I know my size and the product is high quality and consistently true. So if you would like to invest in a wonderfully classic penny loafer, I recommend the Bass product line.
